We request that all guests provide us with their credit card details in order to reserve a room at the Pier View.
No money will be taken from the card as it is merely to hold the reservation. We will pre-authorise the card for one night. (Please do not send credit card details via e-mail)
The exception in regards to taking any payment is if there is a late cancellation or no show charge. (See below)
Cancellations
1 & 2 night bookings
If the reservation is cancelled 72 hours before check-in :No charge.
If the reservation is cancelled less then 72 hours before check-in: 1 night charge will apply.
No Show: 1 night charge will apply .
3 nights or more & long weekends /special events
If the reservation is cancelled 1 week (7 days) before check-in :No charge.
If the reservation is cancelled less then 1 week (7 days) before check-in 50% of the total amount will be charged.
No show: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
Check-in/out times
Check-in time will be 2:00pm (latest check-in 10:00pm unless otherwise pre-arranged) and Check-out time will be 11:00am

All prices are per room per night and include a Continental Breakfast.
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
For long stay bookings reductions may apply.
Supplements may apply during special events and holidays.

*Week days - Public Parking is possible at a location nearby and charges are applicable*
*Free parking for 5 cars is available Saturday and Sunday (Subject to availability on arrival) from 2:00pm Saturday until 8:30am Monday* Please collect a permit to park on arrival at reception. You will be shown where the car park is.

Sorry but we are unable to accept Hen or Stag parties.
Any persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a person of 21 years or over.

(Please note that due to the nature of a Grade II listed building all our rooms have their own unique character and quirkiness)

Any damage to the room and the property's fixtures , fittings and furnishings will be the responsiblilty of the Guest and charged accordingly.
Pier View will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of property left in or damaged as a result of being in the guest's room and/or property during the guest's stay. Pier View has no responsibility for any property left behind / damaged as a result of the guest's stay.
Guests are advised to obtain insurance to cover curtailment, and loss of luggage, personal effects, damages, personal injuries and money/valuable belongings.
It is expected that any guest travelling with expensive / larger items which need to be stored such as prams / push chairs / wheel chairs , mobility scooters and bicycles / cycling equipment must advise the owners at the time of booking even if it is the guests responsibility for such items as Pier View will not be liable for lost, stolen or damaged items.
